Matilda Johnston was born abt 1839 in Drumard, Ireland. She married Alexander Wilson Aug 26, 1858 in Draperstown, IReland. They had two children in Ireland, Thomas Joseph in1859, and Hester 1861. Elizabeth and Emma were born in Philadelphia. Looking for Matilda's mother's name on death certificate and information about children or other relatives if an obit is found.

Age is  right.  Parents listed as Alexander and Matilda, both born in Ireland.

Wow, thank you RJ137. I had never heard of Manayunk and I didn’t know Alexander Remarried. There is a wealth of information on findagrave. Thank you very much.

The marriage entry is on ancestry - Ballinascreen Derry 26 August 1858. So you know Alexander was 20 (father Robert) and Matilda Johnston was 19 (father Thomas).

Death certificates of the children are on ancestry but not Matilda's, you may have to purchase it as the death notice did not name family.

Thank you RJ137. I looked up cause of death and it was malnutrition, poor little girl.
