The pics are lovely especially with the weather being nice.
You're very lucky as I've come across remnants of my own ancestral homes which were nothing more than a pile/mound of rubble, no gable ends etc.
In your 1st pic you can even see where the fireplace was.
All you need now is permission to do a 'dig' to find some artefacts
