Looking for KENNEDY help 1800's
« on: Monday 14 February 22 10:45 GMT (UK) »
Dear all.

I wonder if anyone can help me out please? My Liverpool family history has taken me back to Donegal. That's as much as I can 'help' with location. However, I do know:

My 5th Gt Grandfather was Charles Kennedy born circa 1795. He married a 'Frances.' I assume this marriage took place in Donegal as they have 2 sons born here too - James (born 1826) and John (born 1828)

The family are in Greenock, Scotland by 1848 (as the sons marry before moving to Liverpool.)

I wonder if anyone has any access or suggestions to help me with searches to try and find out more about these roots in Donegal please? ???
M

When/where was Frances born?

Did Charles Kennedy & wife Frances die in Scotland?

What religion were the family?

The birth years for James & John seem very specific, are the dates from census'?

Birth yrs on census' can be out by a yr.
