Yes, it is certainly a 'Davis' Rector so It would appear the witnesses were convenient.

If the couple married privately without family approval it might be that the they didn't have their own witnesses with them and the Rector was able to ask two of his daughters to be witnesses.
Our church, years ago, had two perpetual witnesses on many weddings- the schoolmaster (of the adjoining school) and the sexton (who lived across the road).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
