Identification of These Items
« on: Thursday 31 March 22 04:14 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,
the attached photos are of items found amongst my grandparents possessions.
The first is a small badge with the letters H.A.S.C.
My paternal grandparents where members of the Holdfast Bay Surf Life Saving Society and I'm wondering if it is connected to the club.
The second 2 images are of a roughly made badge/label, with the letters KOM, not sure of the metal its made from but I've had this in my possession since the 1970's, its never been cleaned and it has never tarnished. the mounts on the back are a mystery so I don't know how or what it was fixed to.
I've been told it may be some type of Lodge emblem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards Martin

Usually, something on a lifebuoy with the initials S.C is for a Sailing Club.

A was often the abbreviation for Amateur,  so it may be an amateur sailing club.  Martin could probably sort the H out from his extensive family history searchings.

Many thanks to all for clearing  these up. You have been very helpful.
Now I have to find out who on my father's side was a member of the  Buffalo's.
