Bella Scott - Cawdor Castle?
« on: Thursday 31 March 22 19:54 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I've recently come across a postcard addressed to a 'Miss Bella Scott, Cawdor Castle, Nairn', dated 1908.  Postmark is likely from Elgin.  It is a card wishing a happy new year, possibly signed 'Jim' or similar. I have done all of the research I can but only have speculation and nothing concrete to go off of, if anybody have any information or ideas I would greatly appreciate it!

Welcome to Rootschat

Where did you find the postcard?  Do you have a connection to the sender or the recipient?

Bella is often Isabella or Isabel

She may have been working at the Castle in 1908 but was elsewhere in 1901 and 1911
