« on: Thursday 31 March 22 21:17 BST (UK) »
Hi, a friend of mines relative was; Annie Anderson, who married; Patrick Martin in 1924, Middlesbrough. I’ve managed to research the Martin’s for my friend, but can anyone help me with Annie please? I know she had two children, one of them called; Mary Elizabeth Martin in 1926. Could someone help me get back on Annie’s family please? Thankyou

Use the 1939 register to get a birth year/ date.

Then get the 1924 marriage certificate

I CANNOT see any birth regwhich would match z mmn of Adamson.

There are numerous Annie Adamson’s.  You need to provide more info to establish which one she is

As Pauline says - use the 1939 register to get her full birthdate.  Even that may not be enough given the large number of the same name so the marriage cert will at least give her fathers name

EDIT - SEE REPLY BELOW - surname is ANDERSON - not ADAMSON

According to a tree on Ancestry she died in 1925.

If anybody can work out how she gave birth to 2 children in only 6mths of marriage - particularly as one was born a year after she died - they have a better brain than me  ::) ::)

Where is Patrick in 1939 - he's not showing up for me.

I was wondering what their ages were - perhaps Annie was a widow?

I’ve seen that, but it’s not her as I don’t think she also had a middle name and her daughter was definitely born in; 1926
