Thomas ker

Thomas ker was a farmer who  was a tenant farmer somewhere in the Stoop area.Does anyone have knowledge regarding its location. He died in 1825 at the Stoop.Thank you

Not all burials are recorded.
Can you give more info about Thomas's death as the only burial for a Thomas Kerr in 1825  is on 28 Sept 1825 at Upper School House, Tynron. Aged 81.  Tynron is further north.

Hi again gadget he is buried in Mouswald kirkyard just outside Dumfries thanks stoop.

Nothing that early for Ker or Ke*r  in Mouswald on SP , stoop. Did you get it from the  MIs?

You might try the Sessions minutes, etc.

Hi gadget,Thomas and his wife Mary are buried together in Mouswld kirkyard.I have visited there on a number of occasions. There are quite a few kerr relatives resident .regards stoop.

Are you referring to a farm in the Stoop area or is it in Mousewald Banks??

My apologies gadget, I have led you on a wild goose chase. Referring to my records and not to my memory Thomas died in 1829 at the Stop. They were married in Annan Jan. 1805.Their children were James b. 1811, Mary b. 1806, Jean Miller b. 1807 George b. 1817 and Nathan who was b.1820. Incidentally Thomas was b in 1773 at Collin his father being James Kerr.Sorry about the confusion regards stoop.
