« on: Thursday 07 April 22 14:23 BST (UK) »
hello
hoping someone can help with
Catherine Smith/Symth who was born Caven about 1837. Date and place according to the 1901 and 1911 Irish Census records. I have no ideas on her parents and would like  this information.

She married Eurgine Owen McCluskey about 1857--don't know where. Both are Roman Catholic. First child Patrick baptised 1859 Fermanagh,Monaghan,Drumully--Diocese Clogher.

Her husband  goes by name of Owen McCluskey--but various spellings used on records . He was a farmer and dies 31/3/1897.Corrinary ,Monaghan. Probate 9 Oct 1897Armagh . Records on Ancestry.
Some of their children-- James baptised 29 April  1861 Corrineary , Michael 30 may 1862,Bridget 6 march Drum,Monaghan.

Catherine and her son Patrick are shown living at the same house/land on the 1901 and 1911 Irish census. Spelt McClusky in 1911 at Monaghan/Currin/Cavany. She is 74 and Patrick 52.
Catherine dies 1919.

Would like to establish where Catherine married and the name of her Father  and grateful for any information.
Thank You .

This looks like the marriage - Annagh, March 3rd 1859 but as it is a parish record, there are no parental details.

Are any of the Godparents family members.

Thank You --I think you are right. Trouble making out Godparents so dont know.
I see some Ireland Census Fragments 1821-1851 have appeared on Ancestry. Wonder if clues there.
