Your working the opposite way round to everyone else.   

Usually people quote from the other end,
parents, grand-parents, great grand-parents, great, great, grand parents. That way you can verify each generation as you go.

I found Rose A. Foster on the 1861, age 11 (was age 2 on 1851 with Charles Foster) and brother John Age 13, was age 6 on 1851 with Charles Foster.
They are living with the Richard Boyle family, wife Jane, age 43. I think she is Jane Foster, age 33,  on the 1851 with Charles Foster.
So thinking Jane Foster married Richard Boyle abt 1854 (son Edward is 6). Thinking Charles was widower in 1851 and then he died 1851-1861. His wife must have died abt 1849 as Rose was 2 in 1851. Marriage might give mother's name.

Roseanna Foster is on the 1871 census, age 20, now listed as Roseanna Boyle, a daughter of Richard and Jane Boyle, nee Foster. It is the same family as the same three sons are listed as in 1861.

Richard Boyle and wife Jane Foster are on the 1881 census in Seymour Township, Northumberland Co., with same three sons, no Rosanna who either died or married 1871-1881.

In 1891, Richard Boyle age 73, and wife Jane nee Foster, age 74,  have moved to Campbellford, Northumberland, with same three sons, all single, but there is a daughter in law Emily - strange.

That must be a guess. How do you know that Jane is nee Foster ?

Death of Jarvis Boyle - 9/11/1934 lists his parents as Robert Boyle and Jane Lennox

It all  fits. Jane is single, age 33, in 1851, with Charles Foster. She is age 43, as Jane Boyle in 1861, with Rose Ann Foster age 11, living with them. Rose A. was 2 on the 1851. Also John Foster age 13.
Jane is 54 in 1871 with Rosanna Boyle, age 20 living with them. Same three Boyle sons as in 1861.
Jane is 66 in 1881 with Richard Boyle and same three sons.
Jane is 74 in 1891 with Richard Boyle and same three sons. Now living Campbellford, same as a possible sister Elizabeth Lennox nee Foster.
I don't find Jane and Richard in 1901. So need to look for Jane Boyle's death 1891-1901, and see if her father was Charles and someone and will likely have Elizabeth's father as well. If Jane has an obit might mention sister Elizabeth.
Now I see your death of Jarvis Boyle. Possibly related.
