widows pension
« on: Sunday 10 April 22 20:53 BST (UK) »
Jane Wilton applied for the Widow's Pension in August 1821, then had to prove she was the wife of Lt. John Wilton of 53rd Regiment who died at Banganlone 20th August, 1820. The curator who married them (June 1, 1806) sent the information needed.  Can't locate if she received the pension.

It looks like she received a pension until she died in 1854
