Peter Morison miller in Laxford Sutherland birth and parents needed

Hello, I am looking for more information on

Peter Morison married to Barbara McLeod 11 July 1810. He was a miller according to the marriage record.
Barbara McLeod was the daughter of Roderick McLeod.

also his son Peter Morrison, (it looks like the spelling of Morison changed in the 1841 census.

Peter and Barbara had several children;
Hugh, May 12 1815 Laxford, Eddrachillis, Sunderland, Scotland
Roderick, May 7 1810 Laxford, Eddrachillis, Sunderland, Scotland
Alexander, Apr 19 1813, Laxford, Eddrachillis, Sunderland, Scotland
Peter who's birth 1820, was not registered according to his second marriage record.

I have found Peter, Roderick and Alexander in the 1841 census Olrig. Roderick and Alexander were stated as stonecutters, Peter as a joiner, all born outside the county.

Peter married Ann Reid May 16 1845, Olrig, Caithness, Scotland.

I am beginning to doubt my research, is there anyway to confirm
Peter (b.1920) parents as Peter Morison and Barbara McLeod?
Also how can I find out where Peter Morison snr and Barbara McLeod came from.

I have some records from Scotlands people, is it ok to post these?

You will be aware that in 1861 Ann Morrison in Olrig (aged 46) is married to Roderick Morrison from Eddrachillis. There isa no sign of Peter in Caithness in the 1851 or 1851 census. Have you located Ann's death record to see whether she was married twice?

In 1861 & 1871- he is in Glasgow - b Sutherland

Your opening post says Peters birth was not registered "according to his second marriage cert".  When & where was his second marriage & who did he marry?

     As far as I am aware, 1855, the first year of official Birth, Death and Marriage registration in Scotland, is the only year a Marriage Certificate would state whether a birth was registered or not. There are 4 marriages for a Peter Morrison in Scotland in 1855. Two in Glasgow are Peter Morrison/Anne Larnock at Tradeston. Peter Morrison/Mary Lang at Blythswood. Marriage to Anne Larnock seems most likely.

Hi, thank you, that is a different Ann, I have Peter and Ann Reid's marriage record for Olrig, they are in Edinburgh in 1956 census, Ann Died 1852 and Peter married again.
