perhaps none of them have bought the marriage certificate to check her father's details.

William remarried to Ann Randle, widow, 14 Dec 1825. He died in 1859

He left a will. From the probate, he was a Master Mariner and died 28 July 1859 at Penzance. The will was proved by the oath of Nicholas Andrew of 13 James Street, Liverpool, shipbroker, the son and sole executor.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful help!  You have given me much to work with and i do believe Robert is Eliza's father but will still look for that birth record.

On the 1842 marriage cert you now have: do the witnesses appear to be related to Eliza?
Also, where was Eliza living when she married? Sometimes those details can offer further clues when researching an ancestor.

Also, where was Eliza living when she married? Sometimes those details can offer further clues when researching an ancestor.

The handwriting is hard to make out the names.  I think its Isaac ...... and Elizabeth Pith?

It does state they were living at 19 Kent Street?

John James was a Mariner, his father John James was a joiner.

They were married at St Micheals Church in Liverpool,.

Their 2 older children were born in Liverpool, with the first not long after they were married.  The othere were born in Penzance, Cornwall.

It makes sense they married in Liverpool.  They were full age at time of marriage

This would make sense as i have found a census in 1851 with a William Andrew Master Mariner,  wife Ann

I did wonder if he had remarried
