[3] The list of High Sheriffs of Denbighshire shows a Thomas Morris 1561
[1] This guy was the first husband of Elizabeth (Thelwall) Morys (born c. 1560)
Her second husband was Edward Goodman
[1] They had a daughter Lowri Maurice - she married Edward's brother Thomas Goodman.
All good so far - BUT - I can't find where Thomas Morris comes from. I have one account that has him as:
[3] Thomas ab Maurice ab John ab Maredydd ab . . . ,n Lloyd
[2] and one that says he was probably related to the Morys Wynn, whose daughter married Thomas Salusbury, Esq. of Lleweni, grandson of Sir Thomas Salusbury. This family sometimes hyphenated both names, to be Morys-Wynn as their surname, and added a Christian name.
