Woods Family - Drumagarner, Kilrea
« on: Sunday 29 May 22 15:39 BST (UK) »
William Woods is my 3x Great Grandfather, he died in Kilrea in 1902. His Father was Thomas and his mother was Agnes (Nancy McMullan). The father of Thomas was also Thomas. This is where I've reached a dead end in research. On Ancestry, a lot of Americans have assumed the wife of Thomas Woods was Anna Halpin, who was from Cavan. Also, they were both Catholics, which seemed odd, given all of their children were Presbyterian.

I know verifying information in the mid and late 18th century is difficult but i wish people wouldn't just guess without logic on lineage.

If anyone can help shed light or fill in a gap please comment and start the discussion.

Many thanks
