William Porteous McArthur's birth was in Rothesay, Bute in 1892.

There is a shipping manifest entry for her travelling to Canada in 1923, going to stay with brother Jack McArthur (John likely?) in Saskatchewan. Contact back in the UK is for father Duncan, at 29 Spittal Street, Stirling.

So possibly at least 3 siblings for William headed off to Canada: Duncan, John and Annie.

Annie married (Frederick Basil Nevill) and remained there it seems. Tree details on Ancestry for Annie (not much on it though, and not particularly accurate).
