 Hi everyone  Greetings from New Zealand  .Catherine Mc  BRYDE (ms Devine) was the sister of my grandfather. She married Alexander Mc Bryde in 1874 at St John's  RC Church . I have tried in vain using Scotlands People to  find a death for her in Port-Glasgow or Greenock.  The marriage record I have for her is a church one  which gives only the couple being married and the witnesses.  I also havent been able to find any children of Catherine and Alexander using statutory records.  Does anyone have Catherine and Alexander  MCBRYDE in a family tree? How have you identified this Catherine DEVINE to be the sister of your grandfather?

The statutory marriage record from 1874 is available on Scotlands people.
Note spelling is DIVINE.
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
Neale – Cater – Kinder - Harrison: (Warwickshire & Queensland)
Roberts - Spry: (Cornwall, Middlesex & Queensland)
Munster: (Schleswig-Holstein & Queensland) and Plate: (Braunschweig, Neubruck & Queensland & New York)

What are the names of Catherine’s parents, including her mother’s maiden name? Also, Alexander’s.
