HI Everyone
     Just a question re newspapers for this time period leading up to August 1797.  Is FindMyPast the only way to search for articles in the papers of that time?? 

I'm trying to find anything in relation to people being arrested/apprehended for sedition/defenderism (rebellion) anything along those lines that may lead to more details on my Convict ancestor.  Hope someone can advise me.  Kind regards Dianna

Have you tried the Irish Newspaper Archives ?

They have a vast collection of Irish newspapers both old and new. It's a subscription website.
