It would be a good idea to tell us what you've found so far so that we don't duplicate your findings. You should be able to find quite a bit in online Irish records if they stayed in Ireland.

If you need any further assistance, we will be pleased to help.

Might this be Thomas Long, his wife Mary and family in the 1901 census?
House 17 in Johnstown (Waterford Urban No. 4, Waterford).

This might be a possibility for the marriage of Ellen.
To James O'Brien in 1915

Maybe you should post a thread on the LANCASHIRE board so that the experts there can help you.

Remember to post a link to this thread on your new thread.

You originally asked about descendants of Ellen and sister Eliza but your new thread says James O'Brien died shortly after the marriage & you didn't think he and Ellen had children-

Sorry, I meant any descendants of Thomas and Mary Long but particularly trying to find out about the two sisters Ellen and Eliza. Ellen was briefly married to James O'Brien in 1915 and lived for a time in Bootle, Liverpool but I can't find any trace of her anywhere since 1915.
Eliza married William Ryan in Waterford, Ireland in 1914 and again I cannot find her again after 1916.
Ellen could have remarried as she was only in her early 20s when she was widowed

It was suggested that I search for Ellen on the Lancashire board

Hope this helps
