Thank you Jamjar.
That’s really useful, in that you can confirm the mmn was Titmus…at least I know now that this is the right one.
My gt gt grandmother (possibly) was his sister Lois Lydia and after the 1881 census she only appears three times (as far as I have discovered) once in the birth certificate of my gt grandfather Francis George Francis and on his baptism records, then on her death certificate. Unfortunately, despite her being recorded as Lois Lydia Francis, I have never been able to discover any record of marriage for her.
I am approaching this in a very convoluted way..in that…I can’t confirm that this Lois Lydia Clarke from Buckden is actually my gt gt grandmother, so I was tracing siblings and their offspring in the hope that they might  have some interest in their family tree and at along shot…be able to help me!

Thanks Jamjar…that’s me…I have been searching for years.
I made contact with the children of Grace Hillier/Francis and her brother Ernest. They knew nothing about Frank, the father…the family never discussed him, so they were unable to help.
I am like a Jack Russell on an ankle..I can’t let go! 😂
