1939 on ancestry listed as Nora Dinsdale (correction submitted as it is clearly Thora) at school in Woolwich Kent.

The Genealogist
Thora Dinsdale -22 February 1923 - school Aubey Wood, Longleigh Lane.  Entries on either side are still redacted.

Her birth registration 1923 Elham is under Dimsdale

There are 2 articles in the paper re: Adam Edwin Whitfield Dinsdale. (FindMyPast I don't have a subscription) I can only see the first line of the articles.

12 August 1927 Dover Express Inquest at Folkestone, age 39 of 36 Wood Avenue. 100% disability pension from the War Office .........

13 August 1927 Folkestone Hythe Sandgate and Cheriton Herald, formerly a grocer's assistant, since the war however had 100% disability........

I notice that there is a 'B' reference next to her name in 39. May just be a coincidence, but there is a Joyce T Dinsdale on the 2002-4 Electoral register at the New Wycliffe Home For The Blind, 111, Gleneagles Avenue, Leicester.

The story in 1927 makes sad reading. I won't go into the whole of it but Edwin died from an overdose of sleeping medicine.

Thank you both so much for taking the time to look into my great auntie, sadly I have read about her father Adam Edwin taking an overdose,he almost certainly had PTSD,his is a very sad story after he returned from the war.I am guessing thora never married,I cannot find a marriage for her.
I will look into the Joyce t.dinsdale entry ,could be interesting, will see where it leads, thank you both again for all your help.
