The Elusive Igoe family
« on: Saturday 02 July 22 15:16 BST (UK) »
I just joined this forum, so if this post is not permitted please let me know. I have been doing family history research since 1990 and it includes my wife's linage as well. We have one very elusive family in her linage that seems to evaporate like smoke when we cross the pond to Ireland. All we have is the name Bartholomew Phillip Igoe, born abt 1829 according to LDS records. We show he married Bridget Donaqgher/Fallon. She was born abt 1871 in Frenchpark, Roscommon, Ireland. We have not been able to find any information on his father, mother, siblings as well as his wife's family. We are hoping someone on this forum can direct us to proceed in the right direction so we can move forward with this family.

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

Can you give an indication as to when and where the marriage took place?

There's no record on IrishGenealogy.ie for any marriage of a Bartholomew Igoe.

That couple are here, I think, in 1860 with Igo relatives.
