Dan Harley 1736-1810 (Bury St Edmunds)
« on: Tuesday 12 July 22 15:08 BST (UK) »
I wondered if anyone can help me.
I am looking for information about Dan Harley and Daniel Warner Harley and William Harley.
Dan Harley was born in 1736 in Luke Street. Hoxton. London.
He married Mary Ann Armitage.

He is buried at St Mary’s Church in Bury St Edmunds and there were links to Stowmarket (I believe his wife came from there)

His father was William Harley 1707-1784 He is also buried at St Mary’s Church.

He had a son - Daniel Warner Harley. 1763-1838. Daniel is buried at Tothill. Haughley. Suffolk. He was born in London.

I am interested to know anywhere they may have lived and what the connections are to Suffolk.
Not sure why they were born and worked in London, but each one of them was buried in Suffolk.

Would you have had to be important to have been buried at St Mary’s Church Bury St Edmunds?

I'm missing something.

The only marriage I can see at the moment between Daniel Warner Harley and Mary Ann Armitage/Armytage was 21 March 1830 St Saviour Southwark.
Witness Dan Warner Harley Snr., Elizabeth Armytage, Mary Elizabeth Harley

This is almost 100 later

I don't know about that.
My Dan Harley married Mary Ann Armitage (could be Marianne Armytage) in 1753. They had a daughter Mary Anne (1773-1844) and a son Daniel Warner Harley (1763- 1838) with 5 other children I believe. I am still researching the family so some details will be new to me.
Thanks for your reply.
