Looking for parents of Edward Nichols 1825-1872, married to Jane Maria Stewart Russell 1825-1899.
Both from Stockbury, Kent, England.

Marriage entry on Ancestry shows Edward's father as Edward = Butcher.  Jane's father shown as John = Grocer.

Added:  Marriage was at St Giles, Camberwell.  Both parties said to be from Peckham (Commercial Road)

Added 2:  Date of marriage was 19 February 1848.

Looks to me that he is with his Mother Mary in 1851;

Jane Maria Steward Russell - born 26 February 1825, baptised 28 February 1825 - daughter of John and Christiana of Lenham - Ebenezer Independent Chapel, Lenham.  She has a twin sister - Christiana Amy Steward.

Christiana doesn't marry, and dies 21 January 1888 at Burdett Road, Stonehouse, Glos. according to the National Probate Calendar.

Thanks to all….more confusion, especially from Trish1120, 1 year old Margaret Nichols (1850)?? Mary married Edmund Barham, 1834.
I believe this was both Mary’s (1800-1868) and Edmund’s second marriage, the first for Mary was to another Edward Nichols (1798)…I think.
