Hi all, trying to help my sister in law whist only using a mobile and no broadband—hopeless. Ada born 1878, her father Richard Samuel Keith 1842-1898, his parents John Keith occupation fisherman & Hannah Ramsey, married July 1837, his father Thomas Keith occupation carpenter. Cannot find any census, death or birth for John. Any help welcome

Hi John. This from 1861 census, Deptford. Surname transcribed as Kath. Father is Thomas, age 44.

Correction, Thomas is listed as FEMALE?

I think this is Hannah with her daughter, Mary Ann Elizabeth, in 1851, Greenwich.

The person listed here as Thomas is actually the mother Hannah - it's badly transcribed on other sites as well

There is a death of a John Keith, Greenwich, 1857, age 77. Possible?

I wonder if this is John Keith and wife with first child Mary although Hannah is listed as Elizabeth    :-\ Living at Brewhouse Lane Greenwich
