http://www.marriage-locator.co.uk

I see from Freebmd they married in 1897.  Marriage Locator does not given an exact location but it is shown as between two places - a possible is Roath, St Saviour, Cardiff.
Do you have possible place and date of death based on age that you might know?

They are in Tynemouth in 1911, 1921 and 1939. Emily appears to have died there as well

You are welcome.
Could you tell RootsChatters more about what you would specifically like to know and any relevant info such as names and dates about what you know so far.
This might help people better to help you and not go about finding things that you might already know.

If it might be of interest to know where Emily is buried and you might not already know I could try to find this out for you at the North Shields local studies within the next couple of weeks. (I have nightshifts coming up soon so likely won't get time to check sooner) They have some cemetery records in the Tynemouth district excluding the Blyth area.  They do have cemetery records in the surrounding area of Howdon.  Likely ones may be Church Bank, Holy Cross or Preston.

Sorry River Tyne Lass,  :-[

I'm not sure how modern information the site allows?
The Dobson's are on the 1911 census
Emily 33
Thomas H 37
Edward 12
Violet 7
Emily 3
Margaret A 2

I hope to contact any descendants. Emily Dobson nee Bales 33 is the daughter of Frances Bales nee
Hall of Newark Notts. I am searching this Hall family, so hope for help.

Oh no need to apologise.  I just meant that we might be able to help you better if we know more about what specifically you might be interested in finding out.
I think you have come to the right place in posting here; sooner or later a descendant might google the names and come across this thread. :)
I think you can post about anyone on here so long as you know they are no longer living.

https://my.northtyneside.gov.uk/category/1017/local-studies-and-information

I've just thought of something.  North Shields local studies in North Shields library has this great resource - A-Z folders containing various items about people (ancestors) who once lived in the area.  These are stored along two back walls. Anyone can deposit information in these folders.  It might be worth writing up a little piece about what you know and emailing it to the staff at the local studies and ask if they can put it in the folder which might cover 'Dobson'.  On the write up you could add that you are interested in contacting descendants of this family and that they could contact you via your username and this thread on RootsChat or alternatively by any other contact that you might wish to leave.
You never know, one day a descendant might just be looking through the relevant folder.

Many thanks for your help and tips for the future!
I will do as you recommend  about the folders.

Re my posting 'modern names'...I once had my 'hand slapped' by the site for mentioning possible living persons....hence my reluctance this time! :-\

I used to be good at family history....but now 77, I am not so sharp!
I did my Watson family back to 1491

Best Wishes
