What happened to Richard?

Richard Webber born 1899 Weedon, Daventry, Northamptonshire, parents George William Rich Webber born 1873 Bristol Gloucestershire and Matilda Jane Spencer born 1871 Wolfhamcote, Rugby, Warwickshire.  The father was in the army.

Going back to Richard the only information I have is  a birth reg with no name (maybe they could not decide what to call him when registered) and he is living with his parents and brother William on the 1901 census in Nether Hallam Yorkshire.

After 1901 nothing, I have searched online ancestry etc but apart from a death record on FreeBMD in 1902  but the child is aged 0( Dulverton 5c 227)

Any help would be appreciated

Richard 2 yrs

These ages don’t fit with the births.

There is a death for ‘Male’ Webber in the same quarter as the birth.1899

Daughter Matilda May was actually registered as Minnie May 1913 Amesbury

Thanks amondg and heywood,  So William Richie and Richard are the same, I did wonder about that with the second name Richie but with the father's middle name is Rich and its a family name I dismissed it, but looks like you could be right.  I does look as if a child had been born and died in 1899 heywood.
