Carl Wilhelm Louis Peters
« on: Thursday 01 September 22 19:00 BST (UK) »
My grandfather Carl Wilhelm Louis Peters, born in Barmbeck, Hamburg 21st Sept 1886, arrived in England early 1900s, stayed with a family in Cornwall, married their daughter in 1917. I would like to find out, how he travelled, where he landed and how he ended up in Cornwall

He would probably have travelled by sea but to determine where he landed you would need to find a passenger list.

He married in 1912 - not 1917

Why he ended up in Cornwall could be for employment purposes.  What was his occupation on the 1912 marriage cert or the 1921 census entry?

Since his certificate number here starts with A, I believe that means naturalisation was granted the "ordinary" way - e.g. 5 years of residence within the past 8.

(see section 13.1)

His naturalisation case papers (the HO 144 one) might have more specifics about his initial entry to the UK but if he worked his passage there might not be a passenger list to find.
