Rachel McGee
« on: Sunday 04 September 22 12:56 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any information about Rachel McGee born circa 1891 father William who was a farmer according to her wedding details. She married Patrick Murtagh in Longford 1914 and died Longford 1931. I can't find any more info about her further back as to who her mother was etc. I do struggle searching the records in Ireland.

One possibility but could be others. Rachel Magee born 1888 father William-

Her father William Magee died 1906-

Looks like Eliza mucked up the census form- wonder if she wrote daughter Rachel's name, realised she wasn't in household then continued with son-in-law's surname?

Daughter Rachel in household in 1901 aged 12-

Possibly same Rachel, a servant, in 1911?

If aghadowey's findings are correct, the informant for William's death was his widow Eliza living at Meaghy.

Daughter Matilda (Tillie/Mitilda) was born in 1891 at Meaghy.    MMN Funson
