John Dunne PO Stoker HMS Nessus KIA Jutland

I am doing some research for a friend whose relative (above) died on 1 June 1916 on HMS Nessus.

I have his service record and have read up a few Jutland histories to try and find out the circumstances of his death but without success.  Only 7 crew died in the battle, so the assumption is there was some damage caused.

The ships log is at TNA (ADM 53/52512) so I could see about getting a quote for a copy but don’t know how useful that might be.

Can anyone give any info or a guide to further steps.
