By 1871 she's in Hartest, Suffolk, aged 11. Still there in 1901 as a servant aged 38. Haven't found her in 1881 or 1891 yet.

Hey ShaunJ, your on a roll, thanks. However I had worked out that her birth was circa 1865 as her gravestone engraves her death as 23rd December 1932 and her death registration (Risbridge Dec 1932) records her age as 67. The Emma Pettit you found would have been born in 1859, that 6 years difference.

I appreciate our conversation and your input as you have access to records I do not.

The 1909 Marriage Reg does not show her maiden name as such.
Just the name she was married under.
She may have been a Widow when she married given her age.
