« on: Thursday 27 October 22 20:16 BST (UK) »
Looking for information on John Geaney, born 16th April 1906, Baptised at St Mary's Church, Mallow,
to John Geaney & Ellen Barry,

John married Ellen Barry in 1904 in Mallow, they had John Geaney in 1906, and also Hannah in 1909 Mallow, County Cork, Timothy in 14 Jan 1912 Mallow, County Cork and Bridget in 1920

I have a possible marriage for his parents John Geaney & Hannah Driscoll in 18 Jan 1873 Fermoy Union Workhouse, Workhouse, Fermoy Union, Cloyne.
I have tried unsuccessfully to find and home address for any of them before John & Ellen moved to Widnes, UK

It looks like this family
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Cork/Mallow_South_Urban/Mill_Street/431048/
John is a labourer

but on the marriage in 1904
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1904/10219/5720065.pdf
He's a Tailor

There is a David Geaney in Fermoy a Tailor
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Cork/Fermoy_Urban/Cork_Hill/412930/
and on his marriage also in 1904 and with an address of Cork Road his father is John a Tailor deceased
His surname on Irish Genealogy is Geany only a transcript of the marriage to Mary Hurps

Is this a daughter Eileen in 1917, or is it maybe a coincidence of names?
