1921 census please

I'm looking for a John Sidney Watkins born 1918 in Rhayader, Powys in 1921 please.
He had a sister Minnie Rebecca Watkins born 1920 also in Rhayader.

Sorry, but we are not allowed to do look-ups for the 1921 census.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Are their births on freebmd as I can't see a match but I can see both on the 1939 register with parents

Looks like the 2 children were born with surname Lewis, mmn Lewis - in Rhayader.  Birth index confirms christian names. GRO index doesn't indicate they were illegitimate so don't know what's happening here. 

Doesn't look like the parents were ever legally married.

A Minnie Lewis birth Mar.qtr.1887 Rhayader (would tie in with birthdate in 1939) but can't say if this is her.

Something odd here.

Yes very odd.  I am helping a friend with some research.  They do have a couple of certificates that
they are going to sort out so hopefully they may shed some light on the mystery.

Using the birthdate given for father on death reg does not produce a Watkins birth reg on freebmd

John Sidney Watkins 17.11.1890 died June qtr 1971 Radnorshire West 8C 1914
