Did you want other information about him?  I see him on Electoral Rolls etc but thought you may have that info already.  Happy to post if required.

Sorry - a bit slow to get back to you.

Marriage,
England & Wales, Civil Registration Marriage Index, 1916-2005
Apr quarter 1945, registered Leicester, Vol 7A, Page 703
Edwin Arthur Quilter
Kathleen Mary Pegg

Son born 1949, registered Leicester.

Electoral Rolls (which show people  living at same address with same surname - relationships not given - I only have access to 1980)

1972 at 37 Holt Rd, Taren Point NSW (southern suburb of Sydney) with Kathleen Mary (home duties) and Neil.  Occupations for Edwin and Neil - 'elec mech'
Also 1972 at 30 Mi Mi St, Oatley (suburb of Sydney) with Kathleen and Neil; occupation of both men - electrician
It's not unusual in pre-computer day to have ER listings in 2 places for the same year as it could take a while for an old listing to be removed.
1977 at 17/86 Derrima Rd, Queanbeyan with Kathleen.  Occ - electrician
1980 listed with Kathleen and Neil at 33 Early St Queanbeyan (probably Kathleen's listing not taken off till later as she was already deceased by 1980)

Kathleen died 3 November 1997 and, as Dundee has already mentioned buried at Queanbeyan.

Cheers, Judith

Oops - sorry I realised in my previous post that I said Kathleen had died by 1980 - completely wrong.  Her death was 1997.

Thanks for the offer of help. Margaret - I've not found any ancestors in Cambs.
