Does anyone out there know anything about this person? I know up until around 1935 then he just disappeared.

I'm assuming he was born 1877 (registered Dec qtr Lewisham 1d/1064), married Minnie MARSH in 1905. Arrived Auckland in 1906. Police Gazette 1935 Wanganui "warrant withdrawn" from 1927 for "failing to maintain". alias Kenneth  EDNEY, a mechanic?

For those that don't have a sub to Ancestry, according to one Family Tree, it appears he went to work one day, never to return to his family and just vanished.

I did wonder if he might have changed his name to another.

What is Minnie down as on her death certificate/printout?  Married, Widow?

I've found that Kenelm's wife Minnie, remarried in 1939.

*   Do you happen to know if the couple (Kenelm "Kenneth" and Minnie), had divorced  ?

[ Unfortunately our Archives NZ website - where I might usually obtain such information - is currently out of action.    If no divorce (if Minnie remarried as a widow) - then it might narrow the time frame in which to search for Kenelm's death.  ]
