I understand Sweden was part of anti-Bonaparte alliance during the Napoleonic War.
Is there any information that suggests a contingent of Swedish soldiers may have been based for a short time in Colchester? I am particularly interested in the 1810-1813 period.
I am aware Polish soldiers settled in England at that time.
