Looking for a relative who was born in 1914

I am looking for a close relative born in 1914, he is probably not living.
I have Searched for many years and i have lots of information but not his death or recent residency.
I have tried the Salvation Army but they found the wrong person with the same name,
Born in the same town, but not related
All the information I have are in the areas of Surrey and Sussex,  but he also worked in Turkey
For a few years.
Is there anyone who could help me do some serious research into my dilemma.
(As this person “could” still be living it would have to be confidential)

You say he was a close relative so where does he fit in your FH? 

You presumably know if/when/who/ where he married?

1941 surrey mid eastern
1972 04.03.1972 Brighton

So aged 58 he was still in England & must have died between 1972 & 2014
