Irishgenealogy.ie
« on: Tuesday 03 January 23 16:19 GMT (UK) »
In the summer I emailed this organisation to ask when early deaths  ( 1864-1870) that are currently not available on the site would be added.
They said end 2022.
Unfortunately it looks like this isn’t happening now as I’ve checked and nothing has been updated, and no information about the update.
Does anyone have any idea what’s going on?

Thanks

According to a recent message on genealogy boards.ie, there is just 1 member of staff working on that project, and then only when time permits. It does not appear to be a high priority and the missing years are reportedly unlikely to be available for some time yet.

Thanks Elwyn. That’s a pity. Well at least I know now to not to expect them for several years, if at all.
Will just have to spend money on credits for GRONI!
Was hoping to break down a few brick walls with this information.

Thanks again.
