What a fab picture!  He is so smart in his tailored outfit, even a shirt and tie, and I love his hat and shiny boots.  Perhaps he could be a little older than 2. 3 maybe?

I find it difficult to judge age, but maybe 5 or thereabouts?  It's a lovely photo, but it strikes me that if it was for an advert, the newspaper or whatever it is at the bottom right corner would not have been left there. So maybe this is just a a little boy's joy on being given a special box to keep treasures in.

I wouldn't say the photo was going to be used for an advert, but I feel the box was display promotion size.
They lived in an apartment, and I'm guessing the photo was taken in the street below.
