1950 US census attached appears to indicate no children between 1946-50. Lindley would have been aged approx 45 when marrying.

It looks like Ralph died in 1980 in Norwalk, Connecticut.  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VZGX-963  There are copies of the Norwalk Hour newspaper from then on Google News Archives, but I didn't see an obit for him.
