Will & Matilda Blakeborough - 1891

Hi All,

Looking for a fresh pair of eyes.

I am trying to find the Blakeboroughs from Gomersal in the 1891 census and not having much luck, in 1881 they are in Gomersal, 1901 Heckmondwike and 1911 Hull.

Matilda was born in 1860 and appears to have twins Hairs(e)ine & Evelyn in 1881 but still no joy locating them  Her husband is Will and so thought that would be to common a name to search for  so tried with Matilda, Hairs(e)ine & Evelyn and still no joy.

If anyone wants to have a look then please do and hope you are able to locate this elusive family

Try the unusual Christian  name  year of birth, plus or minus 1 and see what happens

The 1901 shows children Ethel 13, Arthur S 11 and Annie 6 all born Liversedge

Matilda was previously Spencer & marriage was 1876

GRO online show births as Blakebrough - not Blakeborough - as follows

Not finding anyone in 1891 but if any of the family were born, married or died around 1891 we might be able to glean an address they were residing at that time.

I couldn't either, an address from a birth nearest to 1891 might help

Arthur Spencer Blakebrough was born Mar 1890 Dewsbury district but even if we had an address to look for I think we would have found one or other of them in 1891 by now

Thank you so much, I forgot how quick and helpfull everyone is on this forum 

I had tried several approaches with the names ( especially with Hairs(e)ine being so unique ) and so looks as though there is either a big error with a Transcript ( although have used soundex ) or they have been ' missed ' during their travels between Gomersal, Heckmondwike ( Liversedge ) and Hull - Matilda's parents ? So unless I can find something along the lines of an electoral register or something I think this is going to have to become a brickwall while I go on the search for information for them all in other years :-)
