Mr Taylor, Trent St, Atercliffe Sheffield
« on: Monday 16 January 23 23:37 GMT (UK) »
So got a lucky break with my g/grandad an found his discharge card from the HLI due to ill health, Now as someone who was Glasgow born and bred and married with a child find it a bit odd he's gone down south, doing what I guess we will never know

But can anyone shed any light on who this Mr Taylor was he was registered as staying with on his pension card, Looks like he's a lodger(I can't make out what the rest of the adress states) any electrol rolls/census records would be usefull

I went to FindMyPast advanced search for the 1921 census index and entered Taylor, Trent St Attercliffe and got 1 result. A Benjamin Taylor born 1869. Hovering over the image and transcript blocks shows an Annie and a Harold at the same address. .

Annie Taylor born 1863 and Harold Green born 1900 are the two people with Benjamin Taylor in 1921

The address on the card is
C/O Mr Taylor or it could be Mrs Taylor
1 Court 2 House Trent St
Attercliffe
Sheffield

Thanks everyone, What does it say on the 1921 census report about them occupation wise etc (I only use Ancestry and it's not on it)

Just wondering why he's upped sticks to move there as he's back in Glasgow for the 1921 census and working in a coal mine

Sorry but I do not have a sub to the 1921 census and  FindMyPast's T and C's won't let us share the information anyway.
