remi family in italy

on the 25th of December 1919 a desiderato remi was born at Trieste trieste  friuli. venezia. giulia. italy . he was my uncle but i cannot find anything about his family. all i know is he was a prisoner of war in England and never went home to italy staying and getting married in england . any help please

If he stayed & married in England - have you bought a copy of his marriage cert to establish his fathers name?

He married in 1949 per freebmd & 2 children were born 1950 & 1954 who must be your cousins.  If you want details of his family - have you contacted them for info as they presumably know who their grandparents were given that Desiderato only died in 1994

The marriage was registered in Meriden Warwickshire September Quarter 1949, Vol. 9c, Page 2345

He married Gladys Whitehead, she died 10 August 2017 age 96

He died 6 April 1994 age 74, he left a will and they remained in Warwickshire.

thank you both i will get a  copy of the marriage certificate, his two  sons have no idea of their grandparents have already asked them .gladys whitehead was my fathers elder sister.

I am the son of Christopher Remi. My grandparents were Desperate Remi and Gladys Whitehead.

I take it we may be related!?
