1707 Will
« on: Tuesday 31 January 23 23:35 GMT (UK) »
Is anyone an expert in wills.  I have transcribed it but I am more interested now in the human history.  Like would they have been considered well off as a family?  And the legalize of the what I presume are probate pages at the end of the will
TIA

This relates to the will in this post.

The testator is a 'yeoman' in Cheshire.
He leases land for three  lives from Lord Cholmondeley.

You have posted snippets of the inventory, but not the whole thing, or the total sum of his goods as far as I can see, so it's a bit difficult to try and make any judgement about how 'well off ' he was.

As a yeoman with leases from Lord Cholmondeley, he would have fairly comfortable - certainly in a much better position than, say, an agricultural labourer.
It will be interesting to see what the couple of pieces of Latin say.
