Bookbinder/Saddler
« on: Sunday 26 February 23 15:11 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Can anyone help or point me in the right path to find out information about Bookbinders or Saddlers.

My friends relative James Hatton 1822-1897, Macclesfield was a bookbinder.

Also Fredrick William Hatton 1862-1933, Salford, Bedfordshire was a Saddler.

I have completed a family tree for my friends 60th and want to add other points of interest, hence requesting information about James and Fredrick's work roles.

Thanks

If you want a tenuous connection, both can be described as leatherworkers.
