Absolutely BRILLIANT, thank you so much, corblimey how on earth did they read that census!!!!!! They must have needed a stiff drink after that one that’s for sure 😳
I’ve also now found a marriage for Joseph’s mother to a Joseph Hartley which I didn’t know about. It looks like in 1851 they used their step fathers name but then reverted to Heys in 1861, they seem to switch the spelling of their surname pretty regular this family, it makes it so much harder.
