The death heywood quoted was for Cissy Lucy GARDNER 1985 Ashford. I think we have already established that she was Cissy Lucy ILES who married a John Alfred  GARDNER, so nothing to do with your family.

Does spelling count? It could be that your parents called her "(C)Sissy" short for sister??

Cissy was my Grandmothers sisters daughter ( Grandmothers niece ) so I think my parents just followed on from what everyone called her.
