MODIFIED Stevens 1851/61 look-up request

Hi,

I'd be really grateful if someone could look up the following family for me please on the 1851 and 1861  census.  (I know that some of the family lived in cradley Heath) The parents were married in Wolverhampton but so far I haven't been able to find them there

William Stevens Head
Louisa Stevens   Wife  (Nee Talbot) Married in Wolverhampton 1847
Children were -
Edward, Harry Burt (possibly Albert), Ernest and William

Is there any chance you can supply approx dates of birth and/or places of birth for any of the above? It would certainly help in the search, especially as this surname could also be spelt Stephens for instance.

Anything to narrow down the possibilities.

Hi John,

Reading back over my email I have made one BIG mistake.

William Stevens snr  married LOIUSA Talbot NOT Violet as I have written. DOH!!

their children's names  are correct, Edward, Harry, Burt Ernest and William Jnr

William Snr's father was Edward Stevens and he lived in Chester Road, Cradley Heath, (mother's name unknown)

I am told by elderly family member that Edward Stevens Father was Richard Stevens

William Stevens Jnr Married Elizabeth nee?
Harry Stevens  married Violet nee?

Some of the family ended up living in Stourbridge, some Wolverhampton and I'm told the family were originally gypsies.....may this is why I'm having trouble finding a starting point.

This is as much as I know. I think I may have to make a starting point by paying for marriage cert of William and Louisa Talbot.
