With Knowledge acquired from this Forum over the years
Was able to Help on Reuniting Families Medals Forum to a Relative looking for Medals that didn’t Exist
As the Medal Cards confirmed the Medals were Refused Returned and Destroyed
Advised Relative to reapply 100 years later
It got Reported in this BBC News Article by the Relatives Son who was a BBC Journalist

That's brilliant, well done.
It's amazing that a small gesture by one can have a huge impact

That’s a wonderful success story ALAMO. I was led to believe that medals could not be restruck but that is obviously for medals already issued and accepted rather than issued, returned and destroyed as per this example.

It would have been nice for the article to have given credit to people such as yourself who help these families, and also ineresting to have some details about how the search unfolded. Limits to length of article presumably the reason for the omission.

It must be very satisfying to know you have helped this family.  :)

Well done ALAMO, medals mean a lot to most families -- a tangible link to family members long since gone.

Fantastic achievement, very well done indeed.
Having reunited medals with family's myself, I know the joy it gives to both party's.
