He married in 8 Oct 1932 in Southampton Dorothy Evelyn Agnes Guns (Gunns)
B 1915 D 1995 Colchester

She remarried in 1947 in Colchester to Josef Vincene Hykel D 1982

I see from the 1939 war register that his wife is with a son, and as you say she remarried 1947. There would appear to be other Reed/guns children born up and until 1948. Do you know about them

The 1947 marriage in Colchester was for Dorothy A E Guns?.

Having married Herbert R Reed wouldn't she be Dorothy A E Reed.

The 1932 marriage was to H Reed, the 1947 on as posted was to J Hykel
Sons with name Reed as born before second marriage
